Books everyone should read.
I'm a huge book geek, books are my love. I absolutely adore books! I have a mini barnes & nobles in my room:) I heard about these stories from goodreads and decided to read them, they have amazed me. Some of my new favorite books! They're really worth reading and I loved these novels.

Genre: Young Adult/Psychological Thriller
Rating: 5 out of 5

Synposis: "Six months ago, I was happy. I was simply Naomi Carradine. One month ago, I was admitted into a psych ward. Yesterday, Lachlan visited me. Kissed me. And told me that I’m starting to lose my mind. Hours later, Max haunted my thoughts, reminding me I’m not crazy and that he needs my help. A few minutes ago, I drifted further from reality, trying to unravel the past. And now...everyone thinks I’m insane. But, I know he's real, and I know he needs me. Do you believe me?"

My Thoughts:
This has to be one of the most BEAUTIFUL book covers! This book blew my mind away ..
wasn't expecting this. I was sitting there for thirty minutes trying to take this all in! I love it when books can do that - when they can completely take you away from your world and into the book itself.  Seriously, I haven't read a book so good in a while. I won't spoil it for you, but I would really recommend this book. It appealed me to because it was psychological thriller/ romance kind of novel - I stayed up hours reading this, refusing to put it down.  I was constantly trying to make theories since this was a suspenseful novel.

This is an incredible read o.O
Naomi is in an asylum, and she believes she's not insane, but everyone else believes she is. This story is written in the present but mostly in the flashback when Naomi is sharing her story with the psychiatrist. This has a strong rape scene so be aware. This book will probably haunt you, it still does to me.
“Tell me what you’re fighting and I’ll fight with you,” he whispers into my hair.

series

Synopsis: "Sultana is a Saudi Arabian princess, a woman born to fabulous, uncountable wealth. She has four mansions on three continents, her own private jet, glittering jewels, designer dresses galore. But in reality she lives in a gilded cage. She has no freedom, no control over her own life, no value but as a bearer of sons. Hidden behind her black floor-length veil, she is a prisoner, jailed by her father, her husband, her sons, and her country .. "

My Thoughts:
Aww, another beautiful cover. I don't judge a book by its cover, even if it doesn't have a good cover. This cover is breathtaking though - I love the whole Arabian beauty theme going on! Middle Eastern culture is amazing. She reminds me of a true Princess. I hear this is a true story .. This made me quite sad because this book is quite heartbreaking.

This is about a royal princess and her life in Saudi Arabia - everyone probably believes princesses live the best life with jewels and crowns. Myth has it that they don't have to work for anything, but these women in the story worked for their lives. They struggled with their lives. Their stories revolve around the struggle of finding a voice in their families and world.

It revolves around polygamy, child marriages, oppression, and rape. I sympathize with these women since I'm Muslim myself. I tried to look at it from an outsider's perspective and tried to understand it as well. Just do realize, there's bad men in this book, but there's also a few good men in here- so don't believe that every Arab Muslim man oppresses women. It's part of certain cultures, not everyone does the same thing.

A true eye opening read, it is sure to raise awareness about Arab women & culture.

Synopsis:"Olivia, Kelly, Christopher, Jason, and Eva have one thing in common: They’re addicts. Addicts who have hit rock bottom and been stuck together in rehab to face their problems, face sobriety, and face themselves. None of them wants to be there. But they’ll all have to deal with themselves—and one another—if they want to learn how to live. Because when you get that high, there’s nowhere to go but down, down, down"

My thoughts:
This was a breath of fresh air, I really love psychological novels - that's the psychology student talking in me though hehe .. This is about a group of young adults in rehab who share their stories. I really loved Jason and Olivia's story the most, it was quite sad. All of these characters lives portray true stories of everyday life, if you're looking for a more realistic YA book, then this is the one for you! This is the kind of book with words and touches your heart. I wouldn't promote something I don't like, and all of these three books are amazing and a large number of people like them as well. You just have to read these novels with open minds and not be as judge-mental, it can teach you life lessons.

Thank you for reading everyone! :)
