How did it all began?
I created an Beauty Instagram Page. A few people loved what I did and noticed me which boosted my followers. This continued to happen, and now I have 12,600+ followers. Full story can be found here. I decided to make my own blog afterwards, not to just blog about mainly beauty and lifestyle but more to make a change. I've had friends and followers on my Instagram, request me to make a blog since they loved the memes I would put and images I would post, so wallah! 

What does Feminist Reflections mean?
It's derived from my Instagram FemmmeFatale_ but over here, you can see the person behind it a.k.a the Femme and her reflections. My real name is Benish Khan.

Who is Benish Khan?
I'm a twenty year old university student. I have my Associates of Arts Degree in Psychology. I'm in my third year of University, and in the process of completing my Bachelors of Art in Psychology with a minor in religion. I currently work part time as a Bookseller, and I tutor children and adolescents in literature, arts, and history.

What is your nationality and ethnicity?
I'm from Pakistan, and I'm Kashmiri. 

Where do you live?
Every blogger's dream, but my reality. New York City.

What is your blog about?
I blog about everything, I dislike labels. I blog about books, beauty, lifestyle, and entertainment.

Do you manage your blog alone?
I write and edit the blog alone. My sister contributes to my makeup looks and images. My family is in full support of my blog though!

What camera do you use?
I mainly use my Ipad mini, it has HD quality. Other times, I use my Cybershot Sony Ericsson camera. You don't need a pro camera to take good pictures.

Do you receive free samples to review? Can you advertise my product?
Yes, I do. You can find more info on my advertising page.

Are you paid to do reviews, especially when you receive free samples?
I'm never paid to do reviews on free samples.

Who made your blog template? Can I have the code?
It's the theme Simple in blogger but it's heavily edited by me. I just learned from scratch and from tutorial websites. You don't need my code, you can make a better theme yourself!

Do you earn money through your blog?
Yes, I participate in affiliates, paid sponsored posts, and pay per clicks.

What are your future plans for your blog and your instagram page?
I have many in mind, but one is perhaps develop my own company.

What are some tips for someone who has just started blogging?
I would say to always be humble from the start. Invest a lot of time into blogging and interacting with others! Be appreciative of other people's work, if you're active, creative, and genuine - you'll go a long way. Just be positive, and don't be discouraged. For more blogging tips, read these.
