Whisper (A Lakeview Novel Book #2)
Stacey R. Campbell

*Updated Note: This was a free for a few days, but unfortunately isn't any more. It's at it's regular retail price now.

Mini Review:The character Halle discovers Elise's journal, and things get really creepy afterwards. The love story between the two main characters was sweet, it's a love-hate relationship. The true star of this novel is clearly Elise, but she's been dead for over hundred years. It's a ghost story as well, it fascinated me. The character Halle discovers Elise's journal, and things get really creepy afterwards. The love story between the two main characters was sweet, it's a love-hate relationship. It's a fun read to read at night, spooks you up a bit.  I would give it a perfect 5 out of 5 stars.

The Academy Introductions
(GhostBird Series #1)
C.L Stone

Genre: Young Adult/Teen
Read Now: Amazon | Amazon.co.uk
Mini Review: This shouldn't fall into Young adult, because this deals with polygamy so get ready for that with at least one girl and 7 boys  who are not married .. I never heard of this concept before, so I found it weird but interesting. It's about this teen name Sang who has an abusive household, she has been completely isolated from the world so she does not know how to act in front of others. She's not mentally ill though. She has no friends, then she meets these seven guys who are all friends with each other. They secretly work for this "Academy" that is unlisted. I don't like how Sang is so dependent on these guys, there's no feminism here. They believe they're her "heroes." The introductions is rather slow, but the series gets really good as it goes on. It made me want to scream because it had so many guys with a strange concept, but I have really liked it so far. I would give the series 4 stars. Full review coming soon.

Worth The Weight (Book #1)
Mara Jacobs

Genre: New Adult
Read Now:Amazon | Amazon.co.uk
Mini Review: This was a cute book I've read in the past. Lizzie Hampton used to be overweight, and now she has lost half of her body weight. However, she is still just as insecure as she was before. She engages herself in a fling with an old crush just to use him so she can recover her self-confidence, but she didn't know she would fall in love .. This is a a good attempt of a story about self-esteem and body issues. It's too explicit in the language department though. I would suggest checking it out. I would give it 3.5 stars.

(Which may be one reason my TBR is so big.) The one that caught my eye was Whisper, and I will try and read that one as well as it's sequel. Nice mini reviews!
