- It's that time of the year again, I couldn't take any of the challenges in 2014 except for Goodreads since I was late - but these are the reading challenges I'm hoping to participate in 2015!

Personal New Adult challenge is a challenge I set for myself a year ago. NA has been around for a couple of years now, and most of the novels have failed to impress me, although, NA is one of my favorite genre. It's a complicated relationship.
I'm hoping to discover some gems in a bunch of stones. This year, I have read 80 books that are NA, and I have really liked about 12 books which isn't a lot. I'm hoping to read 40 NA books next year for 2015. Below are the books I'm hoping to read .. ! I'm most def. not a fan of NA covers, except the book Rule. I love that guy on that cover *swoons.

Personal Classic Reading Challenge, I've tried to look for some challenges - but they weren't my cup of tea. I'm hoping to read 3 classic books in 2015 since I'm clearly behind on them. Here are some of the books I'm hoping to read ..!
That's a total 7 ncluding the next Goodreads Challenge.. Well, four are the official ones though, so it's alright.
Goodreads Challenge: My goal for the next Goodreads challenge is for 300 books.. Think I can do it? I beat my last goal of 200 books though and read 240 books so let's see :D
Have you guys read any of these books? Any other recommendations?
Shukran for reading this! Leave your blog links in the comments & I'll be sure to check them out & follow :) Stay in tuned pretty creatures..
1) Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy

Thanks.
DeleteWhat a great challenge! I haven't read any of these - but my gosh, I love a good fairytale re-telling.
ReplyDeletethe-creationofbeauty.blogspot.com
I agree, FairyTales are beautiful!
DeleteThat's such a fun idea.
ReplyDeleteI'm currently reading 'the girl with all the gifts' by M Carey.
It's more of a zombie/thriller genre, but better than I thought it would be.
I haven't heard of that one, but it does sound interesting. Tell me if it's any good! :)
DeleteSuch a good idea! I wish I had the time to dedicate to reading all the books. Enjoy! xx http://berrysmiles.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteAw I just make time in between my schedules x
DeleteThese look amazing !

Good luck on the challenges! Your personal NA challenge looks great. I don't have a specific number of NA I want to read next year, but I want to make an effort to read more of them.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I do like some of the concepts of NA novels but most seem too cliche :/
DeleteOh my god, there are so many books in your list that I've read and look forward to hear your thoughts on: The Iron King (didn't like the love-triangle but the world-building is GREAT), Cinder (OMG, SO GOOD! Except for the romance...I mean, it was okay, but banal, you know), Unearthly (such a sweet book and story and MC!!), Hex Hall (the first book was my favorite, but the others were quite boring...:(), Pride & Prejudice (my favorite classic!), Jane Eyre (Hhhmmm, I didn't like this one, but I'm going to try it again soon, maybe my opinion will change), Wicked Lovely (oh man, this I DNFed...it was boring...and the romance didn't seem to go where I wanted it to.)
ReplyDeleteGOOD LUCK! :D
Haha you're my reading expert! ❤️ I'm quite behind on popular books, I avoid reading them tbh lol because I probably won't like half of them.
ReplyDeleteI've heard really good things about Cinder & Hex Hall so let's see how those go! Thank you for the heads up Lola :)
wow, these are so many challenges, I really hope you complete all your challenge by the end of the year!! ALL THE PEST :D
ReplyDeleteI hope so too, thank you so much!
DeleteWow awesome to see so many books in one post! I will definitely look out for some of them - my reading list for 2015 is already SO long but I have a goal to read at least 2 books a month.. not sure if I'll get there but I'll try my best!!
ReplyDeleteAll my love,

DeleteAwesome challenges!! Cinder is so good, I hope you enjoy it :) I'm so excited for the debut challenge!! I can't wait for City of Savages, Ember in the Ashes, My Heart and Other Black Holes, and oh my, you MUST read Unearthly. It's so good!! :D Good luck with your challenges!
ReplyDeleteRachel @ A Perfection Called Books
Thank you Rachel for your recommendations! Cinder sounds awfully good so I cannot wait to check that book out :) lots of new amazing debut books coming out this year! Lets see now.
DeleteOoh what a lot of challenges! Best of luck to you, girl! <33
ReplyDeleteThank you love! :)
DeleteYou've got the promise of a lot of really great challenges here! I love it! I know I will be trying to keep up with you and as always, from reading your reviews adding a lot of these books to my TBR. Nice choices ^^
ReplyDeleteThank you Olivia, I hope they end up really well - cannot wait to read some of your reviews :)
DeleteGirl, I couldn't agree more with your fantasy choices! The entire Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa is.. there isn't even a word for it. Stunning, maybe?! And Splintered is a great choice as well. It is completely mad and twisted and insane.. in a good, fuzzy kind of way! I wish you the best of luck with your 2015 challenges. I have committed to a few myself, and I hope my slacker tendencies don't interfere with completing them! Much luck to you lady (:
ReplyDeleteMorrighan @ Elysian Fields
Thank you for the recommendations! I do hope to read Cinder, I've heard such good things about it :)
DeleteThe Iron Fey series sounds amazing so I hope that turns out well. Good luck with your own challenges! :)
Oh, Benish, these are AMAZING challenges you've posted about here!! I might do at least one of them. The ones I'm interested in are the Fairy Tale Challenge and the Classic Reading Challenge, because I do read a lot of YA anyway. Besides, my blog is really an eclectic blog, and I want to read a greater variety of books.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I have read "Of Beast and Beauty", and LOVED it!!!! I know you'll love it, too! I never get tired of "Beauty and the Beast" retellings, and I know you love this fairytale just as much as I do, so I highly recommend this novel to you!
As for the classic novels, I've read the three you have listed here. My FAVORITE is "Jane Eyre". OMG, I ADORE this novel!!!!! It's my FAVORITE classic of all time!!!!! I know you'll like it! As for "Anna Karenina", I read half of it, and couldn't finish. "Pride and Prejudice" is really good, but I do prefer "Jane Eyre".
Thanks for sharing these challenges!! I know you can handle them, since you're such a FAST reader!! : )
Thank you for your lovely comment Maria! I do hope to read and enjoy a lot of these books, Of Beauty and Beast sounds really interesting.
DeleteI'm clearly behind on classics lol I hope they go well though :) thanks for the recommendations! I do believe I'll love the FairyTale challenge - I'm excited! ❤️
