Flawless Foundations
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind System($8-$11.94)-
This is one of the best drugstore foundations out there! I would recommend this regardless of your skin type -
it gives flawless finish. It's not heavy at all, and lightweight. It provides great coverage, and comes in a variety of complexion shades. It helps with dark spots, and blemishes.  It works great on my skin, I used to have enlarged pores, and this helps minimize it. I still like using it. It doesn't make my face cakey or flakey, and it blends quite well.

Maybelline FITme! Liquid Foundation($5.94) - Another lovely foundation by Maybelline, this provides medium to heavy coverage. I usually wear it in ivory, but for a more tanned look - beige works amazing as well. This foundation isn't cakey at all, it goes on smoothly and lasts me throughout the day. It can make your skin oily but the good outweighs the bad. For the cheap price, it works like magic.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation($62) - This is my favorite expensive foundation. It's quite pricey, but I love this foundation. It gives a very natural coverage without being too heavy. It does not crease at all, and stays on all day long. It provides great medium coverage, and hides imperfections. It works very well for dry and combo skin. One of the best foundations -always smooth and flawless. I would recommend this!

Physician’s Formula Organic Wear Tinted Moisturizer($14.95) - The packing is green which I loveeee :) It's quite natural and leaves your skin in a flawless finish. I love that just a small amount of this makes a difference to your skin. It makes my skin radiant and glowy, I don't even need actual foundation afterwards. It hydrates my skin a lot and evens it out.

It has an Spf 15 which helps nourish and and protects my skin from environmental damage. Good coverage for an affordable price. It won't cover every single imperfection in your skin though, it's not a complete foundation. I don't wear foundation on a daily basis, and tinted moisturizers work perfectly for me - It's very sheer and light weight, and gives a natural look to help enhance your beauty. It does have a weird, musky, organic smell to it.

Nars Sheer Glow($45)  - A satin-finish foundation that allows a dewy look! It provides great coverage an evens out skin. This foundation is more on the medium to heavy side. It gives a smooth finish, and does not make your skin look cakey at all. It works better for dry and normal skin. If you have oily skin, I suggest either a oil absorbing primer or setting it with a powder. Its long lasting and works wonders for Asian skin types!

Covergirl TrueBlend Liquid Makeup($8.94) - This is a matte finish and not greasy at all.  It goes on smoothly, and does not feel heavy on your face. This has provided me long lasting coverage. Also, it has a varity of skin shades to chose from.

Revlon ColorStay($11.99) - This is my favorite drugstore foundation. It is such an amazing foundation, it works a lot better than most expensive foundations. It works for all skin types - works best on dry and combo skin type. It works wonder for extremely oily skin as well. This has a matte finish, and leaves me skin smooth and flaw free. It's light weight and long lasting. It can be used for heavy coverage as well, an alternative to MAC's studio fix for half the price. I would recommend this!

Loreal True Match($6.96) A light to medium coverage, it's not heavy at all. It's a natural product, the coverage works well. It can be greasy though.

Bare Minerals Original Foundation($28) - One of my favorite foundations. The original ones work best, not too sure about the new ones. This provides one of the best coverages - it works amazing for combo and oily skin. It's a matte finish that leaves your skin radiant and natural at the same time. Its a powder setting, and it doesn't make your skin flaky. It's as if I'm not wearing foundation at all.

Flawed:
Revlon Colorstay Mineral Mousse($7.75) - The WORST foundation ever - this makes my skin flaky to the max. Okay, it does provide coverage, but it gives me flakes on my skin which I hate. I don't even know how to make this foundation stand, the base is too thin so it just flops like a dead frog on the table.

MAC Studio Fix Fluid($27) - This isn't that bad at all. For a wedding, this would be a good coverage, but I feel it's too heavy and not natural. I would never this for an everyday look. I can't even do a light to a medium look with this - the setting is too heavy on my skin and makes it oily afterwards.

Maybelline Matte Foundation($7.94)  - It caused me to break out, and makes my skin super oily. I use ivory in all foundations, but this just makes me seem like a ghost. It's not natural, or long lasting. The foundation wears off after a couple of hours. It looks pretty sometimes, but it's not natural. I look like a painted Geisha with this on.

Maybelline Mousse Foundation($9.39) - Once again, I feel like a caked on with this foundation. It makes my skin super greasy, and it does not last that long.

  13. MAC studio fix deserves its stellar reputation--it was my favorite foundation for a long time. Revlon Colorstay has to be my least fave though, because of the limited color selection.

  15. I don't wear a lot of makeup myself. Usually I just have on some lip product. I only go full makeup for special occasions. So, I like reading posts like this one. I can see a lot of products for the same thing and read honest reviews on them. For those times that I do need makeup these posts help me decide what I should get. Thanks for the great details!

  27. I currently use Mac Studio Fix right now and could not agree more with your review. I would love to try Nars now but wondering if it works well on dry skin. I have a very dry skin especially on the side of my nose.

    1. Hi! Hope these help you x

For Lips: Pat down with concealer to make lips appear thicker, and also use lip liner to outline but don't over line as much that it looks unnatural.
Cheeks: The steps for that are highlight, blush, then contour. You should contour where your ear ends - put your hand across your cheek to where your bottom ear lobes starts. Special brushes for contouring help especially angled brushes.
Face: You should use a concealer 2x lighter than your skin. Foundation atleast 2x shafes darker than yours, because that usually is the one for your skin type. Don't use concealer on your eyelids, it can cause a bad crease x I also have a post of 50 beauty tips that should also help by clicking Here :) xo
