Mid-monthly news at Feminist Reflections #8♥

Sunday, April 12, 2015

  • Hi guys, so I'm kind of tired of just doing a simple recap of Mailbox Mondays, I wanted to add a weekly recap and other personal news as well in this postI made my own meme Called Mid-monthly news at Feminist Reflections. I can't always do the MM post on Mondays anymore, andI can't always do this post every week, since I have other obligations first - however, I wanted to do this post every two weeks showcasing my future posts, past recap, books I have read, book haul and other news! It will be a combination of Book haul and my personal reflections. It's inspired from Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviewsand the Sunday Post hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

  • I'm actually looking for guest bloggers for this blog - I don't need a co-blogger, just a few people to occasionally share their thoughts on here 1-2 a month. It won't be a commitment or anything like that, it can be just one time. You don't need to a blogger, as long as you're active on Goodreads or something similar. You can guest blog whenever you would like - you can chose to do it once, it could be a book/movie/tv show review, discussion, your favorite book/movie quotes, bookshelf tour, top ten, or something creative that is lifestyle or bookish related. It has to be a post original to the blog that hasn't been posted before, I wouldn't recommend using the same post on your blog because it does affect the ratings, however, you can post the first few lines of the post on your blog and direct the link here - this can help bring more exposure to your blog - just pitch me at femmmefatalee@gmail.com of your ideas and what you would like to post or you can fill out the contact box below:

  • I'm on a hunt for a good book club in the area of New York, something that is actually official. If you guys know any, please let me know. None of my family members and friends in reality don't like books as much as I do.
  • I'm currently done with Spring Break which depresses me.. I need one more month of from college and studies </3 I visited Atlantic City, New Jersey with my family. We visited Sunset Point, I never actually a a beautiful sunset like this before, I'm from New York so I'm surrounded by skyscrapers. I had a great time overall there! Hopefully, I go back over the summer.

  4. I'm glad that you were able to have a relaxing break Benish! I really want to visit New York one day soon! And I know what you mean about finding a book near you, I do have a few friends who read, but I hate having to wait to discuss my feelings about a book. I hope you're able to find a book club near you. Also I loved Angelfall, I can't wait for the release of the third book, the wait has been too long, I hope you enjoy this series! :)

  11. Snow Like Ashes and The Duff are both books I would love to read as well, so I am curious to know what you think of them. Oh, and I liked Seraphina too, although the beginning slowed me down a little. I hope you enjoy it! My computer won't send my proposal through, so just in case it isn't there you can find me at lonelysearchforever @ gmail (dot) com

  12. So many good books up there on! And many more that are also on my TBR list. I hope you enjoy them when you get to them. Good luck finding a good book club that will mesh well with you. I know how hard it can be to find a good group. Someone told me there was a site that listed clubs and stuff, but I cannot find it. But hopefully word of mouth will be enough for you.
