Motives Cosmetics Makeup Looks | Review

 I like experimenting with different types of makeup, so I'm doing a review on Motives Cosmetics* today. These looks were created by my older sister.

This line is created by makeup artist Loren Ridinger. They have gone massively big almost overnight - it's like one of those companies that everyone is talking about in just one day. They're considered "cruelty free" and happen to work for all skin types. I've heard so much about their company so I'm pretty excited to do this review! Really happy they decided to send me many of their cosmetics to check out. I received these products in exchange for a review, and I'm not affiliated with them in anyway. I've reviewed most of the products here.

      The quality of the eye shadows is lovely. I really liked The Beauty Weapon Kit($49.95) It's quite pricey, but it's my most favorite product of the bunch especially, the intense eye shadows! You can use the same palette for three different looks, smokey, natural, or intense. It's just the right size to take when traveling as well, not too big or too small with numerous items on it.

I ran out of hands and arms to swatch on LOOL .. 

I'm not a huge fan of lip glosses in general since they're sticky and whenever I wear it, my hair sticks to my lips if its windy. I highly refer lipstick or lip balm. These lip glosses were super cute though, the lip glosses alone lasted me through the night when I tried it so that's a plus!

I'm wearing The New Pink lipstick($15.75) with  Scandal lip Gloss($17.95) - the lipstick is my new go to product for work! It doensn't last that long though, it goes off in less than three hours.

Here are two looks My sister & I created using some of Motives Products. 

This isn't the results of filters or too much editing - I've only sharpened the picture mostly.

The eye shadows are absolutely vibrant and beautiful, it's great they have a variety of colors. I've used the products Red Carpet Pressed Eyeshadow Palette, My Beauty Weapon, and the blue is a mixture with eyeshadow from Claire's Cosmetics.

Pros

• The quality of the products is indeed impressive. 
• The texture and pigmentation of the products are lovely.
• You can can create many different looks and completely different ones, such as the ones we did. 
• The quality of the eye shadows is good, they work great for spring looks or intense, dark looks. 
• Every little thing was packed in it's own component. 
• The lip shine packing was chic though, different than most round lip glosses, it comes in square. 
• The shipping was extremely fast, it arrived in three days as well! Friendly customer service as well. 

Cons

• They're a lovely company, but I do feel the hype is too much.
• The packaging is not the most original or different besides the lip glosses.
• The eyeshadows are really good quality, but it's nothing I haven't seen before.
• One lipsticks cost over $15.75. Pretty colors, however, they don't last that long. They're more expensive than even MAC, and MAC has lasted me the whole day and even night..
• Some of the other items are a bit overpriced. I can find better ones for cheaper prices, so I would give them a 3.5 out of 5.

My favorite products out of the bunch would be of the course My Beauty Weapon, along with Scandal Lip Gloss, and Moisture Rich Lipstick in The New Pink!
