Farashe Hair Creme & Hard Candy | Review

Friday, March 14, 2014

It's almost the weekend and I'm finally free from university studies! Well, I'm free only today and tomorrow then back to studying for exams :( I recently recieved some goodies in the mail by some lovely companies so thought I'd take out the time to review their products :D *Excited mode take over*First, I just wanted to say thaaankyouuu so much to these amazing brands, businesses, and people for being so sweet and sending me their products! I love they trust me enough to do reviews for them:) I'll always be honest with my reviews and give pros and cons.

Farashe* is one of the lovely brands that invest in hair cremes. She decided to send me this lovely gift: Farashe Hair Creme with Oils & Honey x Imagine my surprise when I came home from university and saw this sitting on the table.

My siblings were like "What is that? Who send it?"
& I pleaded the fifth and kept quite. I remembered I had told my older sister about my beauty page @FemmmeFatale_ and she had told me "What do you get out of it?" Lol that depressed me :/ I told her she couldn't understand with her freshie brain. Then my little brother joined in, I told them companies send me products because they like what i do and want me to review them. I showed them the 11,800+ followers I have on Instagram, and they were shocked. My little brother said "Wow, are these followers real?" LOOL WTH?! I felt like punching him in the face, its all legit - I can never understand why people buy followers or likes. It's not genuine at all. Anyway, that's my crazy Asian household for you(*hint hint*)

Moving on, I thought I died and went to heaven seeing this package. I'm still alive but anyway, I loved the packaging, it was so cute and reminded me of an early birthday present or something. I literally awe'd for a couple of minutes. I loved the green wrapping, very earthy #GoGREEN! And you guys know how much I'm obsessed with the color green.

Farashe Creme is made out of actual real oils such as, Coconut, Argan, and Olive Oil. It has honey in it too mhmm .. I love natural oils, I hardly let anyone touch my hair and I refuse to use hair products in my hair that don't consist of some kind of oil, and this was absolutely refreshing and amazing. It's deep conditioning, it can be used as a hair mask that you wash off or a leave in conditioner. As of now, I used it as a leave in conditioner on my hair, especially the ends which were kinda dry. It really glossed them up and made them soft as well. Just look at them :D It smells nice too! This picture was after I had put the creme on. I used it only once so far and it produced such amazing results. I'm extremely picky about hair products, but nothing bad about this one. I can't complain about it seeing my hair now. This is one creme to invest in. It's really good if you want silky hair, I would recommend this for sure. It helps lifeless hair come to life, my hair looks super silky due to the help of this lovely creme - I just wanna slide down on it if it was possible haha. I will keep you guys updated on more results as time progresses using this creme! Contact the miracle lady for more details on instagram @farashecreme. You won't have any regrets. Many thanks Farashe! x

Hard Candy is a cosmetics brand that is massively about dramatic makeup looks - it has diverse variety in makeup such as primers, foundations, nail polishes, eye makeup, etc. This is good alternative drugstore products. Another lovely company who sent me some goodies to check out! Their things were so beautifully packaged. I felt really guilty opening the package. As of right now, I use the products then pack them then use them, then pack them again haha. I love seeing things wrapped in great packages, its usually the first thing I notice.

Sheer Envy Primer: Dark Spot correcting #752- diminish perfection
Take me Out Liner - Vice 808
Multicolor Pink and Gold Eyeshadow Palettes.

Sheer Envy Primer: Dark Spot correcting #752- diminish skin's imperfections
Out of the whole package I received, this is my favorite product! I tried on the primer as a base and really liked the results. It did not feel heavy at all, and glided across my skin smoothly. As it stated, it does diminish imperfections. It also made my skin really soft too to the point where I kept touching it haha. I think I'll be adding this to my actual favorites/recommendations :) I would really recommend this primer! It'll truly make others envious of you.

Take me Out Liner - Vice 808
This eye pencil looked extremely cute, it has a sharpener attached to it and glitter at the bottom end. I tried this product on, it was very light though. I had to line it a couple of times for the color to show. It's good for a dramatic look, and what perfect way than the color blue? :)

Multicolored Pink and Gold Eyeshadow Palettes.
I'm not sure what is the exact name for these is as it did not state it. The packing feels a bit cheap, since it is plastic. I loved how the eye shadows look in the box, i tried them on as well and liked the various colors especially the gold! It's very pigmented. The gold one's packaging broke as soon as I opened it though :/ The mirror in it fell off, otherwise these are nice products, fits in spring makeup.

Heres a Spring makeup look I created with these products(take me out liner and both the multicolored palettes) so you guys can actually see the colors, the pictures in iPad quality - my camera had died and was in the process of being charged :( The colors actually come out really nice, will update with this again. Check them out on instagram in the meantime @hardcandylifeThey have a lot of great products for reasonable  prices! Many thanks Hard Candy! x

*Disclosure: These products/PR samples were sent to me free of charge by Fareshe & Hard Candy in exchange for honest reviews.
